Lots of variables, but it is from WebAppTech Coding and in my partner's case, she finally tracked it down when she learned that it is not called Search Donkey but has the benign sounding title, Updater. However, that company name should show up when you go to uninstall and look for Updater.

Search Donkey is a parasite that self-installed on my computer, resulting in unwelcomed pop-ups, slowing computer time throughout, and took a long time to eradicate. The scum-icon still remains in my taskbar notification box. Take off the smiley faced and put on Donkey Kong instead.
